Building Maintenance Service LLC (BMS), the premier building maintenance service provider in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, has launched a Government Services division exclusively focused on our continued growth within federal and local governments, institutions, military, and government contractors.
The division provides comprehensive building services, including janitorial services, architectural restoration, and complete security services, including guard services, video surveillance, and real-time operations center monitoring.
BMS is proud to be a SAM.gov registered business. Today we service over 100 million square feet of real estate, with offices in New York, Arlington and Norfolk, Virginia, and Chicago. Representative clients include the GSA, US Marshalls, Northrop Grumman, Department of Justice, ICE, Vornado Realty Trust, JBG SMITH, The University of Virginia, and the 4.2M square foot Merchandise Mart.
Christopher Verrall, Assistant Vice President, Operations, oversees the strategic direction of the Government Services division, including developing tactical partnerships, exploring new lines of business, streamlining operations, and liaising with the Federal Government and Military. Christopher has held various roles within the BMS family of companies, including work for its parent company, Vornado Realty Trust, and subsidiary, GMSC Security. He brings over sixteen years of military experience in the British Army, as well as experience in the private sector, overseeing the production of armored military vehicles in Dubai, UAE, and working for the United Nations as a technical expert in armored vehicles and fleet services.
